A common expression for describing the arrival of a train is llegamos volando, which literally translates to 'we arrive flying;' the expression is also used for a fast moving object. Hence, the train here is drawn as if it were flying in the sky, and the goods it brings falling to the people below. The native style of the painting reflects the artists study with the late Gonzalo EndaraCrow, one of Ecuadors most renowned artists.
