Major General Herbert NormanSchwarzkopf (August 28, 1895 – November 25, 1958) was the first superintendent of the New Jersey State Police. He is best known for his involvement in the Lindbergh kidnapping case. He was the father of General NormanSchwarzkopf, Jr., the commander of all Coalition forces for Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
NormanSchwarzkopf, Jr. or H. NormanSchwarzkopf, KCB (August 22, 1934 – December 27, 2012) was a United States Army general. While serving as Commander of United States Central Command, he was commander of coalition forces in the Persian Gulf War.
