MUMBAI: A week after a 28-year-old gay commuter was assaulted in a lavatory at Vasai station, a Government Railway Police (GRP) probe has established that his assailants were cops. The victim claimed the plain-clothes policemen, Ravi Medge and Sandeep Waghchaure, extorted Rs 25,000 from him.
