Cherie Cork, whose husband, Tat, owns 22 per cent of FOO, fainted as her "child" stuck his nose out to beat El Segundo and Pompeii Ruler. She didn't know this, but she fell in hope and when revived by a friend, Sue Lucas, she could believe in fairytales. In fact, she has believed in them for all of Fields Of Omagh's racing career.

May 30, · Recent infrastructure improvements include the generous donation of a horse walker by Cherie Cork, gifted in memory of her late husband Tat Cork who was in the ownership of Fields Of Omagh. The horse walker will be invaluable in the conditioning and maintenance of the retirees, as well as the rehabilitation of horses coming back from injury.
