Teasdale is an alternative spelling of Teesdale, which is the main dale the river Tees runs through on its way to the north sea. It is in central Britain, in northern England. A large number of people who went to America in the early years, came from various areas in central Britain. Below are a couple of interweb sites which could prove usefull (the English spelling), to Americans trying to trace ancestry. Hope this is of some help. http://www.teesdale.gov.uk http://www.teesdalemercury.co.uk/
