María Isabel García (born 26 March 1978) is a Spanish sprint canoer who competed in the early to mid-2000s. She won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with three silvers (K-4 200 m: 2001, 2002, 2003) and four bronzes (K-4 200 m: 2005, K-4 500 m: 2001, 2002, 2003).
Antonio María "El Inglés" García (1868 – July 24, 1923) was a Cuban baseball catcher in the Cuban League. He played from 1882 to 1905 with several Cuban ballclubs, including Almendares, the Fe club, Habana, and the All Cubans. He was elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1939.
José María Soler García was a Spanish archaeologist, historian, researcher and folklorist. He is one of the persons who most deeply studied Villena and its surrounding area, since the vast majority of his research was focused on what concerned his hometown.
